Connecting Multiple Cameras
HD3000 supports the use of up to two additional cameras, which may be connected
and controlled through the remote control and/or the HD web management.
HD3000 supports the following configurations:
T Second PTZ Camera kit, available as an option.
T One or two additional stationary cameras.
Connecting a Second PTZ Camera
The Second PTZ Camera kit provides PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) control of the
secondary camera in addition to the Main camera. The supported cameras are
Canon VCC4 and Sony D100.
The kit includes:
• PTZ camera
• Power supply and power cord
• S-Video cable
• RJ-45 Camera control cable.
³ To connect a second PTZ camera
1. Connect an S-Video cable between the S-Video connector of the camera
and the system’s CAM1 connector.
2. Connect the RJ-45 camera control cable between the VISCA IN connector
of the camera and the system’s RS-232 connector.
