10 HD3000’S WEB MANAGEMENT
HD3000 contains an embedded web management program, which provides
powerful operational and management capabilities from computers in remote
locations. You can access the HD3000 Web Management from any PC through an
Internet Explorer browser.
To access the Web Management program, the following prerequisites must be met:
T HD3000 must be set to enable remote web management.
T If a password is set, the user must enter a correct password.
T Internet Explorer 5 or higher must be installed on the remote PC.
For details on working with the Web Management, see the HD Web Management
User’s Guide.
10.1 Enabling Remote Management of the HD3000
To manage and operate the HD3000 remotely, turn on the Web Management option
in the HD3000’s configuration.
